$4.6 Million Award from Harris GSCD to Develop Components for US Military Program

US Monolithics LLC is continuing its innovation in custom integrated circuits and modules for wireless military signal processing systems under contract to Harris Government Systems Communications Division (GSCD). The $4.6 million contract award from Harris is for Class K frequency converter modules for a military space system, with deliveries beginning later this year. The contract value also includes a major subcontract award from US Monolithics to EMS Technologies’ Defense & Space Systems Division, which will manufacture and test the components. US Monolithics is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ViaSat Inc. (Nasdaq: VSAT).

US Monolithics is pioneering new levels of integration as well as pushing state-of-the-art performance with its custom Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits (MMICs) and modules. The designs result in significantly better performance in a smaller package. The partnership with EMS adds certified Class K quality to the superior RF design.
